What type of Instagram account do I need?

You need an Instagram Business or Creator account connected to a Facebook Page. Personal Instagram accounts don't have access to the Messaging API that we use for syncing.

How does the sync work?

Convotic uses Meta's official Instagram Messaging API to receive your DM conversations. When a new message arrives, we automatically create or update the corresponding contact in HubSpot and log the conversation.

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. We only request the minimum permissions needed to sync your messages. We never share your data with third parties.

Yes! The number of Instagram accounts depends on your plan. Free and Starter plans include 1 account, while Pro supports up to 3. All accounts sync to your single HubSpot account.
